Editing text in Project Page

Project page lets you edit posts inline, right where you see them. There is no editing toolbar to click, and no separate editing forms for posts, pages and issues, you just type where you see text to add some more and when you're finished press save.

You can use keyboard commands to change the html currently selected. The current commands available by using the command key and a letter are:

  • b – Bold the selection
  • i – Italicise the selection
  • k – Create a link with the contents of the clipboard as the url
  • u – Create an unordered list like this one
  • o – Created an ordered list with numbers
  • ' – Create a block quote
  • h – Create a new header, one level lower than existing heads
  • 0 – Clear formatting and wrap the block in a paragraph tag

Some of these commands you will already be familiar with from desktop software like Microsoft word (b for bold, i for italic, k for links), and some has been chosen to reflect useful tags to use.

Editing Raw HTML

At present you can't choose to edit the html except by visiting the update page, but this is a facility I'd like to add soon.
